About ByteMe

As our intro to our home page says, we specialise in website design and development with projects ranging from small to large scale PHP/MySQL sites. But, really, that says little about who we are.

Who are we?

Well.. we're ByteMe: Web & Hosting. We're a young (at heart and physically) company who enjoy what we do.

Why the Name ByteMe?

We wanted something fun. Many of you will know us as PowerSource Communications cc and while that is technically our company CC name, we prefer to be referred to as ByteMe. PowerSource Communications cc has been around for quite a while. When Jean merged his former web design company with Deon's hosting company a change of name was in order.

Who's Who in the Zoo?

The team consists of Deon Marias (Owner), Jean-René Behm (Owner) and Duncan Nieuwstadt (Senior Web Developer).

Deon Marais General Manager What do I do? I'm responsible for the running of the company. When you call for support, I'll probably be the one to help you!	Jean-René Behm Senior Web Developer What do I do? The Web Department is my baby. I still do a little bit of actual web developement, but mostly manage the projects	Duncan Nieuwstadt Senior Web Developer What do I do? As my title says, I'm the web developer, so I build most of the websites. P.S. For the hundreth time it's a kilt!
